WILMINGTON, MA — At Monday night’s Board of Selectmen Meeting, Town Manager Jeff Hull announced that 12 Wilmington restaurants have contacted his office to offer outdoor seating. 11 of the requests have already been permitted, and one request is pending.
According to Hull, the following restaurants have been authorized to offer outdoor seating, noting many have already begun doing so:
- Burger King
- Country Chef
- Greg’s
- Ninety-Nine
- Pancho’s Cantina
- Peter’s Pizza
- Red Heat Tavern
- Rocco’s Restaurant
- Tremezzo
- Tremezzo Pizzeria
- Wilmington House of Pizza
Casa Blanca’s request for outdoor seating was pending as of Monday evening.
Hull noted that the Ninety-Nine, Rocco’s Restaurant, and Tremezzo are authorized to serve alcohol outdoors. A request from Pancho’s Cantina to serve alcohol outdoors was pending as of Monday evening.
While restaurants are now able to open for indoor seating, Wilmington Health Director Shelly Newhouse encourages restaurants to continue to offer outdoor seating throughout the summer.
