RAYMOND, NH — Marjorie A. Gardner “Marge”, 68, passed away on June 11, 2020 at the Exeter Hospital from complications following having COVID-19.
She was born April 6, 1952 in Massachusetts, daughter of the late Henry Haas and Winifred (Walbourne) Haas.
Marge grew up in Wilmington, MA and she was raised catholic as one of five children in the family. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School. In 1978, she married Ronald Gardner and they moved to Raymond, NH to raise their family. Marge was currently employed as a housekeeper at Villa Crest Nursing Home in Manchester, NH, and formerly worked for Legends Restaurant and The Wellstone House both in Raymond.
Her hobbies included watching the lake and sitting on her porch swing.
Marge was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Gardner, her son Matthew “Matty” Gardner, and two siblings.
Spending time with family meant everything to Marge and she never wanted to see her family leave. Marge had enjoyed the last 12 years with her loving companion, Walter Riley who brought so much joy to Marge’s life.
She is survived her companion, Walter Riley, son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Kaitlyn Gardner, daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Michael Diamond, 4 stepchildren and their spouses, Terri and Scott Perry, Lisa Gardner, Marc and Doreen Gardner, Michael and Suzy Gardner, numerous grandchildren, 2 sisters, Claire Raetano-Wells and Teresa Fogg, and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Morrison Cemetery, Deerfield, NH.
