BUSINESS BRIEF: Patricia Matthews Joins Reading Cooperative Bank As Senior Underwriter

READING, MA — Reading Cooperative Bank (RCB) has hired Patricia Matthews to join its Residential Lending team as Senior Underwriter. Patricia comes to RCB from Melrose Cooperative Bank in Melrose, MA, where she served as Loan Underwriter for over 10 years. Prior to her time at Melrose Cooperative, Patricia was the Underwriting Manager at Mortgage Network, Inc. in Danvers, MA.

Patricia graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing. She lives in Melrose with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her sons play sports, visiting family, and hanging out with friends. Patricia will report to Veronica Russo, who is the head of Residential and Consumer Lending.

“I’m excited to join RCB and take this next step in my career,” Matthews remarked. “I look forward to the challenge of this new position and the opportunity to work with such a great team.”
