POLICE LOG for May 20: Driver Issued Summons; Kids Riding Bikes Around Vehicles In Drive-Thru; Dog Left In Car

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, May 20, 2020:
  • Mark C. Heard (31, Worcester) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Heard was pulled over on Sonny’s Mobil on the Run. (2:04am)
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with an oil leak from machinery in the building at Keyspan on Ballardvale Street. (6:21am)
  • Police and Fire responded to a mulch fire in front of TJ Maxx. (1:39pm)
  • 3-4 juveniles were riding around vehicles in the Dunkin drive-thru on Main Street. Police spoke to juveniles in area and asked them not to ride in drive-thru. (4:52pm)
  • A caller reported a dog in a vehicle in the Market Basket parking lot with the windows only down slightly and the dog crying. Police spoke with owner. Dog checked OK. (5:42pm)
  • Police responded to kids in the playground area at Town Park. Police notified them that town parks are still closed at this time. (6:16pm)
