Judy was born on July 8, 1941 in Malden, MA; she was the dear daughter of the late John and Mary Eleanor Green. She was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden Girls Catholic High School. Judy went on to further her education earning a Bachelor’s Degree in early education from Boston State College and a Master’s Degree in education from Salem State University. At the time of her death, Judy, was working on her Doctorate.

Judy had a great personality and made many life-long friends with her colleagues as well as her students.

In her spare time Judy looked forward to the summers spent at the family home on Lake Winnesquam with her family and friends. She also enjoyed becoming a “snow bird” with her husband Jerry as they headed to Florida to get out of the New England Winters. Judy and Jerry were active at the Wilmington Library and could often be spotted helping out at the book store.

Following the death of her husband, Judy loved going out and spending time with her friends, her dinners out with her neighbors and taking trips with the Senior Center. One of her more memorable trips happened last fall when she along with others survived the “Douglas, MA boat incident”; a trip they would never forget.
