Need To Dispose Of Medications? Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition Delivering Free Drug Disposal Bags

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition is providing a drop-off service for Deterra Pouches. Deterra is a drug-deactivation system which allows individuals to safety dispose of unwanted/unused/expired medications in the convenience and safety of their own home.

To get pouches dropped off, contact Samantha Reif at 978-447-2296 or sreif@wpd.org. Supplies will be delivered Monday-Friday, free of charge, and left in mailboxes.

In normal routines, the Coalition encourage drop-off to the station’s kiosks, but wanted to make a resource available and safe with the current stay-at-home advisory.
