VIDEO: Hundreds Of Local Families Are Participating In Random Acts Of Kindness Through ‘Smiles For Miles’ Movement

WILMINGTON, MA — Watch the latest episode of “Talk of the Town” with host Ryan Malyar, WCTV’s Youth & Content Coordinator, featuring quick, feel-good stories from around town.

In this episode, Malyar remotely interviews Kristin Bryan, Stefanie Vozella, and Breanne Surette — 3 of the 4 women behind “Smiles For Miles” movement in Wilmington, Tewksbury and Billerica. Children, with their parents’ help, create gifts or gift baskets and deliver them to other children as a surprise.

“It’s kinda like a reverse Halloween,” explained Malyar.

The organizers noted that as much as their children enjoy receiving the gifts, they actually look forward to the giving of gifts the most.

In less than one week, more than 250 residents from the three community have joined the movement’s Facebook group. Learn more about “Smiles For Miles” HERE.
