WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7pm. The meeting will take place online and shown live on WCTV (Channel 9 on Comcast and Channel 37 on Verizon) at http://www.wctv.org. (Members can also listen in to the meeting by dialing 1-646-558-8656 and entering meeting ID 954 4291 1037 and then press # and press # again at the next voice prompt.)
There are some noteworthy items on the agenda, including:
- Selectmen will receive an update from Town Health Director Shelley Newhouse and Fire Chief Bill Cavanaugh on the town’s COVID-19 response.
- Chief Cavanaugh will also announce the donation of Lowell Five Bank to fund ambulance computers.
- Town Clerk Christine Touma-Conway will discuss a new date for Town Election.
- Superintendent of Schools Dr. Glenn Brand will discuss the authorization of submission of statements of interest to the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
- Selectmen will consider the request of the Wilmington Famers Market to hold a market on Sunday, May 3 on the Swain Green.
- Selectmen will consider the appointments and reappointments to many town boards, committees and commissions. Town Manager Jeff Hull will also announce his appointments and reappointments that do not require Selectmen approval or ratification.
- Selectmen will set its summer meeting schedule.
