VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Tewksbury’s Public Health Museum Seeks Volunteers

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Public Health Museum in Tewksbury is seeking volunteer tour guides for its museum and grounds tours. If you have an interest in history or public health, museums or architecture, this is a great opportunity for you. Guides are trained and work with the public to provide historical context for museum exhibits. As part of the role, you have the opportunity to work with other volunteers on various projects such as archiving artifacts and updating materials. The museum is open 10am-2pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the first Saturday of the month in the winter. On call guides are also appreciated for large tour groups. If interested in learning more, please email sandra@publichealthmuseum.org.
