Community Health and Wellness Fair
Saturday, March 14, 9 am- 12 pm
Location: Wilmington Knights of Columbus
Spring into wellness! Local businesses and organizations specializing in mental and physical wellness will be on hand to answer questions and showcase their products/services.  Complimentary health screenings, demonstrations, giveaways, prize drawings, and more.  Free to the public–all welcome! Provided in collaboration with the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Wilmington Elderly Services; partially funded with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Fiction Critique Group

Whether you are drafting a short story or a novel, joining our Critique Group is a great opportunity to meet other writers and get constructive feedback in a supportive environment. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials before the meeting. Open to all experience levels writing in all genres. Organic Vegetable Gardening *RR

Suzanne Crooker, who has worked in the vegetable department at Mahoney’s for several years will tell you all you need to know to start and sustain an organic vegetable garden.  Topics include soil conditioning, planting and harvesting schedule, fertilizing techniques, and insect and disease identification and controls.

How to Speak Dog *RR
Tuesday, March 10, 7 pm
Learn what makes your dog tick and how to improve his behavior from professional dog trainer and owner of BlueDog, Kimberly Palermo. She will cover how dogs learn, what your dog is saying and discuss common misconceptions about our four-legged friends. She will then teach the best techniques to communicate with your dog and improve his behavior. Kim will bring her dog Lady for a demonstration.

Wilmington/Tewksbury History: Planes, Trains, and More! *RR

How did Wilmington and Tewksbury change with the advent of trolleys, airports, and a nearby Interstate?  In this panel discussion, Kevin Farrell will talk about the trolley history of Wilmington & Tewksbury and Earl Hupper, who worked at the Tew-Mac Airport will share his stories.
