POLICE LOG for February 12: Hit & Run On Shawsheen Ave.; Railroad Crossing Malfunction

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, February 12, 2020:
  • A caller reported a hit and run at Shawsheen Avenue and Aldrich Road. She struck a jeep, which continued on, and got rear-ended by a second vehicle, which continued on. No injuries noted. (7:45am)
  • A caller reported vehicles were parked on both sides of the roadway on Parker Avenue, impeding traffic. Police spoke with homeowner who agreed to move vehicles. (3:22pm)
  • A wallet was found on Lowell Street. Officer brought wallet to owner, but owner wasn’t home. Note left to contact the station. (7:01pm)
  • A caller reported lights at the railroad crossing on Clark Street are flashing and gates are up. Police notified Keolis. (7:23pm)
