The poetry circle is a great opportunity to meet other poets and get constructive feedback in a supportive environment. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials in advance. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.

Current Affairs Discussion Group *RR
Wednesday, February 19, 7pm
This group is for all who would like to broaden their knowledge of current national and international affairs. You will have the opportunity to discuss topical events and learn from others. Led by facilitator Dan Hall.

Ragtime and Beyond Concert *RR
Thursday, February 20, 2:30 pm
Pianist/Composer Deborrah Wyndham will present a variety of music on the piano in this program with ragtime music as the highlight. Ragtime, whose initial era of popularity began in the early 1890s and ended around 1915, is known as our nation’s first American “pop” music. This program includes the original works of Scott Joplin and other ragtime composers plus boogie woogie, novelty rags and more.

If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you.  Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar at and record your recipe.  Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes!

Channel the zen painting mastery of Bob Ross and create a serene scene on canvas with acrylics with Mr. Surette of Shady Lane Art Studio. Grades 6-12

Learn to Play the Ukulele *RR
Wednesday, February 19, 6:30-8 pm
Want to try an instrument that is fun and easy to play? Join Julie Stepanek as she shows the fundamentals of ukulele playing. You’ll learn how to tune, strum and read chords. After a short lesson, you’ll be able to play songs. No experience necessary. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one of hers. Grades 4+

Once Upon a Yoga Mat *RR
