WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Monday, February 3, 2020:

#1) Wilmington Democratic Town Committee Meeting

The Wilmington Democratic Town Committee meets at 7pm at WCTV’s Headquarters (10 Waltham Street). Guest speakers will include Jamie Belsito (Candidate for Congress), Matt Brodeur (a rep from Senator Ed Markey’s re-election campaign) and Patricia Brandl (a rep from Pete Buttigieg’s campaign.) New members and guests are welcome.

#2) Wilmington Ice Rink & Recreation Facility Committee Meeting

The Wilmington Ice Rink & Recreation Facility Committee meets at 7pm in Town Hall’s Room 9. Read the agenda HERE.

#3) WHS Swimming Team Fundraiser At Fuddruckers

On Monday, February 3, 2020, from 5pm to 9pm, Fuddruckers — inside Jordan’s Furniture in Reading — will donate 20% of your bill to the Wilmington High School/North Reading High School Swim Team.  So, take a break from cooking, skip the dishes, and eat out to support Wilmington High’s Swim Team.

Make sure to print out the voucher below and present it to the cashier upon payment.


#4) Nutrition For Health Aging At Wilmington Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a presentation on Nutrition For Healthy Aging at 2:30pm. You cannot stop aging, but you can stay healthy. The first step toward good health in your senior years is to eat right. As we age, our bodies change — not only in how they look, but also in how they work.  Town Nurse Traci Mello will talk about the changes and what steps you can take to maintain good health. #5) Trivia At Pancho’s Cantina

Pancho’s Cantina (206 Ballardvale Street) hosts trivia every Monday from 6pm to 7:30pm. Trivia, organized by Lisa Kapala, is free to play and family-friendly. Three games are played — you can come for one or stay for all three. There will be generous prizes, awesome food and drink, and a staff that couldn’t be nicer.
