#1) Suburban Boston Spring Home Show At Shriners Auditorium

The Suburban Boston Spring Home Show will emanate from Wilmington’s Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) on Friday, January 24, 2020 (11am-8pm); Saturday, January 25, 2020 (10am-8pm); and Sunday, January 26, 2020 (10am-6pm). Admission is free with advance online registration or $10 at the door. Parking is free.

The show describes itself as follows:

Our Home Show events are designed for homeowners – such as yourself – who are in all stages of remodeling, landscaping and decorating their homes. Each of our events includes home improvement and remodeling exhibits with product demonstrations and sample interior and exterior vignettes. #2) Lil’ Kickers To Hold Open House In Wilmington At New ‘Danvers Indoor Sports Wilmington’

Soccer is exciting for kids around the Wilmington area with Lil’ Kickers, an award-winning child development program that uses soccer to help kids ages 18 months to nine years old tackle important developmental milestones through age-appropriate, energetic and fun activities.

Danvers Indoor Sports Wilmington will host an Open House on January 26, 2020 from 3pm to 5pm, and parents and children are invited to the fun-filled event to try a free class sampler, meet the coaches and Kicker, and learn more about the Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute programs. All kids attending will receive a free Lil’ Kickers jersey!

“Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute are tremendous programs at DIS! Our staff brings an energy level necessary to connect with young children bringing smiles and silliness. We are enthused to be a part of every child’s growth in the program. Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute continue to expand and it’s a testament to families researching quality programs and really making sound decisions when investing in their child’s development,” says Kelly Cragg, Danvers Indoor Sports.

Lil’ Kickers classes are organized by age starting with Bunnies, Thumpers and Cottontails for children ages 1½ to 3½ with parent participation. These classes focus on balance, coordination, cooperation and listening skills as well as developing a sense of independence. The Hoppers, Jackrabbits and Big Feet classes for ages three to six focusing on basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, trapping and shooting as well as building teamwork and helping players grasp the fundamentals. Our Micro 4/5, 6/7, and 7/8 classes are great for learning basic soccer skills, designed to provide first time experience to scrimmaging and gameplay. Intermediate players can participate in Skills Institute classes where players are introduced to more complex soccer skills and scrimmaging each week.
