POLICE LOG for January 20: Match Leads To Misunderstanding; Highway Crashes

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, January 20, 2020:
  • Police and Fire responded to a 2-vehicle crash with possible injuries on 93 South, prior to Exit 38. State Police handled scene. (12:03pm)
  • A Grace Drive resident requested an officer, claiming someone lit a match and left it on his porch. He felt it was threatening. Police responded. Situation was a misunderstanding. A candle was lit inside the home and match was left in the porch area. (3:36pm)
  • Police stayed with stranded driver out of gas on 93 North Exit 40 ramp while they waited for AAA. (7:31pm)
  • Police responded to 2-vehicle crash in high speed lane on 93 North, prior to Exit 40. State Police handled scene. (8:19pm)
