Featured Book: The Last Days of Night by Graham Moore
This novel tells the story of the battle between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse in the race to deliver electricity to the nation. Lots of interesting historical facts woven into a story about one of the most significant inventions of the century. Pick up a copy of the book at the library and join in the discussion.
Climbing Mount Everest *RR
Thursday, January 23, 6:30 pm
Groton resident, Craig John, will present a multimedia program on his ascents of Mt. Everest. Craig first climbed Everest in 1998 by the North Ridge on the Tibetan side of the mountain. In 2018, he returned to Everest to make an ascent by the Southeast Ridge in Nepal. Craig has been a professional mountain guide for 33 years. He has led over 65 high altitude expeditions worldwide.

If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you. Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar at wilmlibrary.org. and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes!

Back by popular demand! Chase away the winter blues with The Last Duo, who play the sounds of the 60s and 70s including the Eagles, America, Van Morrison, the Beatles and more.
