  1. Just of point of interest, if a Sober Home is opened in your neighborhood, they do not have to get prior approval to open it. It could be nextdoor to your house. They purchased a home in Tewksbury for approximately $700,000 and the neighbors found out about it after it was bought and they moved the residents in. I really don’t think that people that are recovering addicts should be housed in such a high end home. I am not against Sober Homes, I am just against the fact that they can open up anywhere they buy a home. Residents should have some say in this, before it actually happens.

  2. Hi Bonnie, I read your comment regarding the sober home recently purchased in Tewksbury. I appreciate your concern but I’m not sure if you know the requirements for sober men or women have to meet before they can move In to a sober house. These are men and women who have been . through extensive detox and rehabilitation, they have been sober for at least a year. They must have a job, they get drug tested several random times a week, and they have curfews and must pay monthly rent.
They are human beings just like you and I. Please do some research at Into Action Recovery. Thanks 😊
