WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Field Hockey Team kicked off the season of giving by making donations to several local and regional charities.
The girls showed their support for Pediatric Cancer by wearing gold laces the month of September. They raised over $800 which will be donated to One Mission and Go 4 The Gold charities, both of which support pediatric cancer patients and their families.
The girls and their families also brought non-perishables for the Wilmington Food Pantry and toiletries, diapers and wipes for one of Wilmington’s angels — Paula Stalker — to bring to safe houses.
