Below is an announcement from the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA):
CHELSEA, MA — It’s MWRA contest time! Once again the MWRA is sponsoring Poster and Writing Contests for students who live in or attend school in a community served by the MWRA.
Students in the MWRA service area are invited to use their creative skills to design a poster and/or write an essay, poem or story explaining what should or should not be flushed down toilets or put down drains. So-called “flushable” wipes are a big issue, but it’s so much more than that!

Students are asked to use their creative skills to create a poster explaining what should or should not be flushed down toilets or put down drains.
Posters should be no smaller than 8.5×11 inches and no larger than 18×24 inches. Posters received bigger or smaller than these dimensions will not be judged.
POSTERS WILL BE JUDGED IN 4 CATEGORIES: Gr. K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Use your creative skills to write an essay, story, or poem explaining what should or should not be flushed down toilets or put down drains.
