WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, November 9, 2019:

#1) Free Breakfast At Wilmington United Methodist Church

The Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is hosting a complimentary breakfast for all veterans and their guests at 8am in church’s Fellowship Hall.

Eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, home fries, pastries, coffee, tea and juice are on the menu.

Reserve your seats by calling Wilmington Veterans Director Lou Cimaglia at 978-694-2040 or 978-658-4519. The building is handicap accessible.

This free event is sponsored by the Wilmington United Methodist Church’s Mens Group.

#2) Huge Gun Show At Shriners Auditorium

hriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) will host a firearm and knife show, featuring 500 tables, on Saturday, November 9, 2019, 9am-5pm, and Sunday, November 10, 2019, 9am-3pm.

Participants can buy, sell and trade sporting, antique, and collectible firearms; custom and high quality knives; and various militaria.

The general admission fee for adults is $12. Children 12 and under, with an adult, are free. Parking is also free. Learn more HERE. A $1-off coupon can be found HERE.

The event is hosted by New Mart Promotions of Massachusetts and promoted by the NRA-affiliated Westchester Collectors Club.

#3) Tech Buddies Drop-In At Wilmington Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a tech buddies drop-in session from 10am to 11am. Need technology help, but Brad isn’t here? Drop in at a Tech Buddies session! Tech Buddies is a new volunteer program connecting teens and members of the Wilmington community in need of assistance navigating their phones, tablets, cameras, and the Cloud.

#4) Town Yardwaste Center Open

The Town’s Yardwaste Center is open from 9am to 4pm. Residents need to purchase a punch-card for $15 in order to enter the yardwaste center. Punch-cards are available for purchase through the Collector’s Office at Town Hall and will allow up to 5 vehicle trips to the Yardwaste Center per card. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS OR STUMPS ARE ACCEPTED. Commercial vehicles are not allowed. Make sure to bring photo identification to show you are a Wilmington resident.

#5) Book Store Next Door Open

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
