#1) State House Tribute To Veterans In Honor Of State Rep. Jim Miceli
The Wilmington-based iPods for Wounded Veterans and State Representative Dave Robertson (D-Tewksbury) has organized a “Salute To Veterans” ceremony, in honor of the late State Rep. Jim Miceli, on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, at Memorial Hall inside the Massachusetts State House. Learn more HERE.
#2) Wilmington Flu Clinic At Town Hall
The Wilmington Health Department is holding a Flu Clinic for ages 5 and up on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, at Wilmington Town Hall. Free of charge. Ages 5 to 18 will only receive nasal mist. All others will receive injectable. High dose is NOT available. Medicare card holders please bring your NEW card. Remember to bring your insurance cards. Vaccine will be available even if you do not have insurance. Please do not arrive earlier than the specified time. Anyone with a fever should delay vaccination. #3) Wilmington Figure Skating Club’s Learn-To-Skate Lessons Begin
The Wilmington Figure Skating Club will be offering two learn-to-skate classes at Ristuccia Arena (190 Main Street). Classes are offered at 4pm and 5:20pm, running on Fridays from November 1, 2019 to December 20, 2019.
Both classes will include Learn-to-Skate for beginners (who have never skated or have little skating experience) and Learn-to-Skate Hockey. The 5:20pm class will also include a Learn-to-Skate Adult Class.
Classes are taught by professional Skate USA instructors and include a Skate USA membership.
#4) Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club’s Sports Card & Memorabilia Show At Shriners Auditorium
Meet sports celebrities at Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club’s 34th Annual Sports Card & Memorabilia Show, held on Friday, November 1, 2019 (noon to 7pm), Saturday, November 2, 2019 (9am to 5pm), and Sunday, November 3, 2019 (9am-3pm) at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) in Wilmington. #5) Murder Mystery Dinner For Teens At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner with teens from 7pm to 9pm. This after-hours event is perfect for teen true crime fans who also have a flair for the dramatic. Choose whether you’d like to be an actor in the story, or an amateur sleuth in the audience, and enjoy dinner as the Roaring Twenties theme unfolds! Grades 6-12. Registration has closed.
