WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, September 20, 2019:
- A caller reported a female party driving at a high rate of speed through the Savers parking lot, yelling at pedestrians. Police responded and was unable to locate. (10:46am)
- Police found a backpack outside the high school and returned it to the student. (3:25pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash took place on Adams Street. Parties refused medical attention. (4:04pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash took place at the Shawsheen Elementary School. No injuries noted. One vehicle towed. (6:03pm)
- A caller reported three kids on bikes loitering behind the old Rite Aid building. Police sent the kids on their way. (8:53pm)
- A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the corner of Andover Street and Upton Drive. Police responded. Operator worked in the area and pulled over to talk on the phone. (11:52pm)
