WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, September 8, 2019:
- Ryan M. McCarthy (28, Billerica) was arrested on a warrant. McCarthy was initially pulled over on Wilmington Road in Burlington for speeding. (1:15am)
- Police reported the porta potty behind Town Hall was tipped over sometime overnight. Police able to stand it up, but DPW will need to clean. (6:56am)
- An anonymous caller reported a vehicle parked in the Purple Heart Reserved Spot at Town Hall. Parking spot only applies during normal business hours — no response needed. (12:36pm)
- Police received a 911 hangup. Police confirmed it was from a 3-year-old playing with the phone. (2:07pm)
- A caller reported a female was walking in the Fiorenza Drive neighborhood stating she is with the U.S. Census. Police responded. Woman did have official license from Census Bureau. She checked OK and will be back in town tomorrow. (3:56pm)
