WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Town Common area will be busy this Sunday, September 8, 2019 with lots of great community activities planned.
The Wilmington Field Hockey program is holding a Car Wash fundraiser from 9am to 1pm in the 4th of July Building’s parking lot.
Next door on the Swain Green, the Wilmington Farmers Market is open from 10am to 1pm.
10 vendors are scheduled to appear, including: Arrowhead Farms, Gaouette Farm, Seafood Express Co (only until 12pm), Purple Carrot Bread Co., EJ’s Pizza / Grab & Go, KC StYles Accessories, Tewksbury Honey, Happy Apples, Grateful Tastes, and Susan Anton, LMT.
In addition to their shopping bag, residents are encouraged bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a concert from the Aleppo Shriners Band beginning at 11am.
Children can also stop by the Market’s Kids Table to paint a kindness rock to bring home or leave around town to brighten someone’s day.
The Wilmington Board of Registrars will be holding a Voter Registration session at the Farmers Market. Residents may register to vote, apply for an absentee ballot, or note a name or address change. Sixteen and seventeen year olds are welcome to pre-register.
