VIDEO: WCTV Releases “Wilmington Remembers”: A Documentary About Mid-20th Century Wilmington

WILMINGTON, MA — What was Wilmington like in the mid-20th Century? That’s the question answered in the new 2-part documentary Wilmington Remembers.

The documentary was a collaborative project between WCTV, the Wilmington Memorial Library, Wilmington Senior Center and Town Museum. It involved hours of interviews with longtime Wilmington residents, who spoke about their time in town and what they remember from their childhood & early days in the community.

From old schools to a skating tradition; growing up around Silver Lake to remembering the old downtown shops and movie theater… You’ll not only be surprised by how much things have changed, but how many of their memories are still tied to locations around town today.
