POLICE LOG for July 30: Teens Misbehaving At Silver Lake; Coyote Spotted In Town Hall Parking Lot

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, July 30, 2019:

  • Police issued a citation to a driver for not moving over for a tow truck in the breakdown lane on 93 South prior to Exit 41. (7:13am)
  • 2 vehicles were involved in a crash near Rocco’s on Main Street. The fence at C&J Equipment was damaged. One vehicle towed. No injuries. (8:48am)
  • Police received report of a coyote in the Town Hall parking lot. Animal was gone by the time police arrived. Police spoke with Town Hall staff. (12:14pm)
  • Police received report of 4 teens not obeying lifeguard rules, jumping off fishing pier and throwing rocks at ducks in water at Silver Lake. Police responded and spoke with teens. (2:53pm)
  • Police noted a commuter rail train blocked Middlesex Avenue while stopped at North Wilmington station. (9:37pm)
