5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Tuesday, July 30, 2019

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Tuesday, July 30, 2019:

#1) Preschool Storytime 

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a preschool storytime at 10am. This storytime on good night for preschoolers includes books, rhymes, music and a fun craft. Parents and caregivers accompany the child and participate in the activities. Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Ages 3-5.

#2) Angry Birds

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a real-life Angry Birds program at 3pm. Join us for an afternoon of building and destructing! Teams will take turns building structures and knocking them down using giant angry birds and catapults. We’ll see who can make the strongest structure. Then we’ll work together to build a giant structure and see how long it can last! Grades 1-5. Register HERE.

#3) Teen Trivia

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding trivia for teens at 7pm. Show us your smarts at pub-style trivia! Play against your friends, putting your pop culture knowledge to the test. The winning team walks off with prizes and bragging rights! Snacks provided. Grades 6-12. Register HERE.

#4) Angels In Motions Meeting

Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue).  The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones. A luncheon is served as noon.  Free. Handicapped accessible.

#5) Town Beach Open 

The Town Beach is open today.  Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
