#1) On The Fence Players Presents RED HERRING
On The Fence Players, a Wilmington-based theatre company for Wilmington teens and young adults, will be performing Red Herring on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 7pm in the Wilmington High School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm. Admission costs $5.
About Red Herring: Three love stories, a murder mystery, and a nuclear espionage plot converge in this noir comedy about marriage and other explosive devices. It’s 1952: America’s on the verge of the H-bomb, Dwight Eisenhower’s on the campaign trail, and I Love Lucy’s on Monday nights. Meanwhile, Senator Joe McCarthy’s daughter just got engaged to a Soviet spy, and Boston detective Maggie Pelletier has to find out who dumped the dead guy in the Harbor—or else lose out on a honeymoon in Havana. A blunt-nosed, sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.
On The Fence Players was founded in 2014 by Wilmington’s Nikk Tetreault. This is the company’s 6th annual summer production.
#2) Muppets Movie At Wilmington Library
Enjoy ‘Muppets In Space’ in the Wilmington Memorial Library’s air-conditioned Meeting Room at 10am. Popcorn will be served. Ages 3+. Register HERE.
#3) Tour Of Wilmington Town Museum
The Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Come explore Wilmington’s history. Free admission.
#4) Karaoke At Pacific Grove
Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting karaoke from Winnell Entertainment beginning at 8pm.
#5) Town Beach
The Town Beach is open today. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
