Meredith Goldstein is an advice columnist and features reporter for The Boston Globe. Her column, Love Letters, is a daily dispatch of wisdom for the lovelorn. Meredith’s books include her memoir, Can’t Help Myself: Lessons and Confessions from a Modern Advice Columnist, Chemistry Lessons, and The Singles. Book signing and sales to follow talk.

Fiction Critique Group *RR

Love writing fiction? Whether you are drafting a short story or a novel, joining our Critique Group is a great opportunity to meet other writers and get constructive feedback in a supportive environment. Revere Beach Memories *RR

Don’t miss this trip down memory lane. Revere Beach, established as America’s first public beach in 1896, was a place that created lasting memories for thousands of beach goers. The Revere Beach of old comes alive through photos and stories presented by Bob Upton, a Revere Beach enthusiast and historian. Join us for a night of history and nostalgia. Bring your own photos and stories to share as well.

Read Grace Lin’s enchanting book Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, then come to this celebration of Minli’s journey to the Never-Ending mountain.  We’ll make a compass, determine the age of a dragon, look for hidden symbols and enjoy Chinese snacks. Grades 4-6
