#3) WCTV To Host Drone Photography Meet-Up
You’ve likely seen stunning drone footage taken around town by aerial photographer Jamie Boudreau. How does he do it? What type of drone does he use? And what advice does he have for those looking to get a drone of their own?
Jamie will be part of a WCTV Meet-Up on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 11am to talk about drone photography at Silver Lake. Lisa Kapala is hosting the event. Contact her to RSVP and to learn more at lisa@wctv.org or 978-657-4066.
This is not a sanctioned class on drones, nor should it be seen as a formal instruction. But WCTV hopes it’s informational and gives you a sense for how drones work and how Jamie gets such great footage around the region.
This event was originally scheduled for May, but was rained out.
#4) Town Beach Open
The Town Beach is open today. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
