WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, July 15, 2019:
- Derek Neil Held (24, Methuen) was issued a summons for Number Plate Violation To Conceal ID. Police noticed Held’s license plates didn’t match RMV records. (2:36am)
- Animal Control Officer called to Textron due to injured fawn laying on walkway. Animal Control Officer retrieved deer and brought to rehabber. (7:43am)
- Fire Department responded to smoldering mulch at Santander Bank, CVS and 99 Restaurant. (1:47pm, 4:30pm, 4:48pm)
- Police responded to a dispute on Carmel Street between two brothers and a pizza delivery. (4:58pm)
- A van drove through railroad arms that were down on Salem Street, heading towards Tewksbury. Tewksbury Police and Keolis notified. Driver was contacted and eventually returned to scene. Police passed along operator’s business card to MBTA Police. (5:17pm)
- Police issued a citation for speeding and failure to use care at the Lowell Street-Woburn Street intersection after a 2-vehicle crash with rollover. No injuries noted. Both vehicles towed. (9:45pm)
