WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library and Tewksbury Public Library held a panel discussion on the history of Silver Lake on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Wilmington Memorial Library.

Panelists Gerry O’Reilly (who literally wrote the book on Silver Lake) and Joyce Eaton Dalton, of Wilmington, and Rita O’Brien Dee and Allie Casazza, of Tewksbury, discussed life in the neighborhood, local legends and myths surrounding Silver Lake, and how this district fits into the larger Wilmington and Tewksbury communities.

Wilmington Town Museum Curator Terri Marciello moderated the event.

The event was a collaboration of the Wilmington Memorial Library and Tewksbury Public Library, with the support of the Wilmington Historical Commission, Wilmington Town Museum and Tewksbury Historical Society.
