WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, June 7:
- Animal Control Officer removed a baby groundhog from the roadway on Middlesex Avenue and placed it in the woods. (11:09am)
- A Marjorie Road caller reported a male walking around in people’s yards and looking into houses. Police responded. Misunderstanding. Male was a resident of the house. (2:12pm)
- A large snapping turtle was struck by a car on Woburn Street and still alive. Animal Control Officer dropped off to Turtle Rescue Group. (3:13pm)
- A car and motorcycle were involved in a crash at Salem Street and Cunningham Street. No injuries noted. (3:58pm)
- Police received a report of two people — one wearing a bunny suit and one wearing a jump suit — chasing people at Town Beach. Police checked the area and found the call unfounded. (10:54pm)
