#1) Wilmington Town-Wide Yard Sale
The Wilmington Memorial Library has organized the fifth annual Town Wide Yard Sale from 8am to 2pm. 56 locations are participating in this year’s sale! A Google Map of all the locations can be found HERE. Paper maps are available at the library, Town Hall, and the Market Basket courtesy counter.
#2) Wilmington Democratic Town Committee’s Caucus
The Wilmington Democratic Town Committee invites all registered Democrats in Wilmington to its caucus on Saturday June 8, 2019 at WCTV (10 Waltham St.) at promptly 10:00 am to elect delegates and alternates to the 2019 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.
This year’s state convention will be held September 14th at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, where thousands of Democrats from across the state will come together to discuss Party business and celebrate our successes as we prepare for upcoming elections.
The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Wilmington.
Pre-registered Democrats who will be 16 by May 11, 2019 will be allowed to participate and run as a delegate or alternate.
Wilmington can elect 5 Female Delegates, 5 Male Delegates and 4 alternates to the Convention.
Youth, minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ individuals who are not elected as a delegate or alternate may apply to be an add-on delegate at the caucus or at http://www.massdems.org.

#3) Town Yardwaste Center Open
The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located on Old Main Street, off of Main Street at the Woburn line, is open from 9am to 4pm.
Residents will need to purchase a punch-card for $15 in order to enter the yardwaste center. Punch-cards will be available for purchase through the Collector’s Office at Town Hall and will allow up to 5 vehicle trips to the Yardwaste Center per card. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS OR STUMPS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Commercial vehicles will not be allowed. Make sure to bring photo identification to show you are a Wilmington resident.

#4) Book Store Next Door Open
The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
#5) WHS Softball In State Tournament Action
WHS Varsity Softball Team (#9) travels to Essex Tech (#8) at 4pm in State Tournament opening round action. The game, originally scheduled for Thursday, was “rained out.”
