SELECTMEN RACE: Former State Rep & US Senate Candidate Geoff Diehl Endorses Rob Fasulo For Selectman

WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a press release from the Fasulo for Selectman campaign:

Former State Representative and candidate for US Senate Geoff Diehl today endorsed Rob Fasulo for Wilmington Selectman. A longtime resident of Wilmington, Fasulo is a candidate for selectman in the local election on Saturday April 27.

“Rob’s character, as a father, law enforcement officer and caring neighbor, is exemplary and his desire to serve the town of Wilmington on the Board of Selectman is something I endorse wholeheartedly,” said Diehl. “It takes something special to be willing to dedicate time and give back to your community, which is exactly what Rob wants to do for a town that has done so much for he and his family. At a time when fiscal responsibility is critical for town management, I look forward to seeing Rob succeed for the people of Wilmington.”

Rob is a graduate of the Wilmington Public Schools and holds a degree in Criminal Justice. Rob began his law enforcement career when he became a volunteer officer with the Wilmington Auxiliary Police. Today he continues that career in his role as an investigator for the Commonweath of Massachusetts. Rob’s record of standing with the residents of Wilmington is clear. When threatened with drastic quality-of-life changes from projects such as Global, Sciarappa Farm and 362 Middlesex Avenue, he stood side by side with the residents. Rob has proven that he will stand for what is right, even in the face of government officials that will stop at nothing to quiet opposition.
