#1) Kindergaten & PreK Registration Opens

Registration for Kindergarten and PreK is open at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center from 8:30am to 10:30am and 12:30pm to 2pm. Registration for Kindergarten and PreK is open at the Wildwood Early Childhood Center from 9am to 11am and 12:45pm to 2:15pm. This has been postponed until Tuesday due to the storm. Learn more HERE.

#2) 7 Steps To Managing Your Memory at Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting an afternoon lecture at 3pm. Dr. Andrew E. Budson, Professor of Neurology at BU, lecturer at Harvard, and Medical Director of the Boston Center for Memory will explain how individuals can distinguish changes in memory due to Alzheimer’s versus normal aging; what medications, vitamins, diets, and exercise regimes can help; and the best habits, strategies, and memory aids to use, in seven simple steps.  Dr.Budson has coauthored or edited five books on the subject of memory loss, Alzheimer’s, and dementia. #3) Wilmington Job Seekers Network Meeting

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding its weekly job networking meeting at 10am. Learn how to recover quickly from a layoff and find employment again. In this Lynda.com video, instructor Brie Reynolds begins with the first steps to take after a layoff, including making a structured recovery plan. The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting at playgroup at 9:30am. Drop in for a fun playgroup led by the CTI Family Resource Network. Ages 2-5.
