WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools invites parents and guardians to its 4th Annual Behavioral Health Fair on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 5pm to 8pm, at Wilmington High School.
Local and municipal resources will be available from 5pm to 6pm in the High School’s Cafeteria. Vendors will cover the following areas: social and emotional supports, behavioral/mental health, wellness, stress management, substance abuse, mindfulness, and more.
Cory Mashburn, a consultant and spaker with the Middlesex Partnership for Youth, will discuss the state’s bullying legislation from 6pm to 7pm in the High School’s Auditorium.
Mary Cole, Program Coordinator of the Greater Boston Tobacco-Free Community Partnership, will discuss what parents need to know about e-cigarettes and vape products from 7pm to 8pm in the High School’s Auditorium.
Childcare is available in the school’s Large Instruction Room throughout the event.
The fair is organized by the district’s Behavioral Health Task Force Members. The program is part of the Wildcat Project Part 3 and is funded by the Massachusetts Tobacco Cessation & Prevention Program.
