WILMINGTON, MA — The 3rd Annual Pizza Wars was held on Monday, January 28, 2019 in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria. This popular event is organized by the Wilmington-Billerica-Tewksbury Relay For Life Committee. More than 250 attended — each sampling pizza from local pizza shops and voting on their favorites. $1,100+ was raised and will benefit the American Cancer Society.
Congratulations to the winners — Wilmington House of Pizza (1st place for Cheese, 1st place for Speciality), EJ’s Frozen Pizza (tie-2nd place for Cheese, 2nd place for Speciality), and LaRosa’s (tie-2nd place for Cheese, 3rd place for Specialty).
