Wilmington Has A New Assistant Town Manager

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington has a new second in command.

Earlier this week, Town Manager Jeff Hull rannounced the appointment of Kerry Colburn-Dion as Assistant Town Manager, following the October departure of Dee Casey, who is now the Assistant Town Manager in North Andover.

Colburn-Dion was introduced to the Board of Selectmen at their meeting on Monday night.

“[Kerry] certainly has a strong background in Finance. We are very excited to have her on board,” said Hull. “Just from the first week she’s been here, I can tell you she has an incredible work ethic. She’s spent a lot of extra hours already as we’re in the midst of the budget process… We’re glad to have her.”

Colburn-Dion was Finance Director for the Town of Carlisle for the past 2+ years and Town Treasurer & Finance Coordinator for the Town of Tyngsboro for the previous 7 years. She has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Business Administration from UMass Lowell. Prior to entering municipal government, Colburn-Dion worked for Honeywell as its Director of Materials.

Colburn-Dion was selected from a pool of 75 applicants.
