TOWN ELECTION NEWS: 6 Seats Up For Grabs, Nomination Papers Now Available

WILMINGTON, MA — Interested in running for a seat on the Board of Selectmen or School Committee?

Nomination papers are now available in the Wilmington Town Clerk’s Office.  Papers, with at least 50 valid signatures from Wilmington voters, are due back to the Town Clerk by Friday, March 8.

The Town Clerk’s Office, located at Wilmington Town Hall, is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The following seats will be up for grabs in this year’s election:

  • TWO three-year Board of Selectmen seats (currently held by Greg Bendel and Kevin Caira)
  • THREE three-year School Committee seats (currently held by Julie Broussard, Jo Newhouse, and Tom Talbot)
  • ONE three-year Shawsheen Tech School Committee seat (currently held by Robert Peterson Sr.)

The Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019.  Polls will be open from 8am to 8pm.
