Still Time to Participate in RMLD’s “Calendars for Cans” Food Drive

READING, MA — Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) is currently holding a “Calendars for Cans” Food Drive in conjunction with the distribution of its annual historical calendar.

The response has been tremendous so far, and RMLD would like to thank customers who have opted to make a non-perishable food donation when picking up their historical calendar. For those who would still like to participate, non-perishable food is being collected at the following calendar pickup locations through December 21, 2018 in Wilmington:

  • Lucci’s Supermarket
  • Wilmington Town Hall
  • Wilmington Memorial Library
  • Wilmington Senior Center

Donations will benefit the Wilmington Community Fund’s Food Pantry.

Calendars are available while supplies last. Food donations are appreciated but not required to pick up a calendar. For more information and a list of suggested food items, please visit
