WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a round-up of what’s going on in Wilmington on Saturday, November 24, 2018:
Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
Town Yardwaste Recycling Center: The Recycling Center, located off Old Main Street at the Wilmington/Woburn line, will be open for leaf and brush drop-off from 9am to 4pm. Only Wilmington residents will be allowed to use the facility for leaves and brush drop-off. Residents must show an ID at the entrance to the facility. No grass clippings will be accepted. No contractors or commercial vehicles will be allowed. Residents using the Recycling Center must purchase a punch card for $15 which will be good for 5 visits to the center. Punch cards may be purchased Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Treasurer’s Office at Town Hall. Cards purchased previously that have unpunched visits are still valid.
Class Reunion: Wilmington High School Class of 2003 is celebrating its 15-Year Reunion on Saturday, November 24, 2018, from 7pm to 11pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (downstairs). Tickets cost $5 at the door. Email any questions to KristieC@chchne.com.
Class Reunion: Wilmington High School Class of 1998 is celebrating its 20th Class Reunion on Saturday, November 24, from 7pm to 11pm, at Luna Rossa (1699 Shawsheen Street, Tewksbury). Join us for great music, appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets, which cost $40, can be purchased HERE.
Class Reunion: The Shawsheen Tech Class of 2013 is holding its 5-Year Reunion on Saturday, November 24, from 7pm to 10pm, at Sissy K’s (4 Commercial Street) in Boston. Tickets cost $30 and must be purchased in advance online HERE. No tickets will be sold at the doors. Food, drinks, karaoke, DJ and dancing are included in the ticket price. Plus ones are welcome, but they must purchase their own ticket. Guests must be 21 years or older with valid ID. There will be an open bar from 7pm to 9pm. This is a private event where entry will be granted with valid ID and purchased ticket.
In The Community: The 24th Annual Castleberry Faire Holiday Craft Festival will take place on Friday, November 23 (9am-5pm); Saturday, November 24 (10am-5pm) and Sunday, November 25 (10am-4pm) at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road).

In The Community: The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library.
In The Community: The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.
In The Community: 6th, 7th and 8th grade students living in Wilmington are invited to join the Wilmington Youth Center and enjoy being part of a community that offers a safe place to hang out with your friends and have fun! The Wilmington Youth Center, located inside Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue), will be open every Saturday night, from 7pm to 9:30pm, from November 17, 2018 to March 30, 2019.
