WILMINGTON, MA — The Town of Wilmington is calling for volunteers to serve on the Conservation Commission. If you would like to be considered for the current opening, please fill out an application for appointment and submit it to the Town Manager’s office. You can download the application from the Town’s website HERE.
The Conservation Commission is the Town body responsible for administering the State Wetlands Protection Act so as to protect the Town’s wetlands and their resource values. The Commission also acquires and holds land on behalf of the Town for protection of the Town’s natural resources and watersheds. The Commission typically meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm at Wilmington Town Hall.
