Code Burgundy: the Long Escape *RR

John Katsaros will talk about his book Code Burgundy: the Long Escapebased on his experiences in WWII. He was a 20 year old aerial gunner in WWII when he was shot down and seriously wounded. He was captured by the Gestapo and escaped with the assistance of the Free French Resistance, who assisted him in his travels to climb the Pyrenees to freedom, only to be locked up by the Spanish Constabulary. In 2010, John Katsaros was named a “Chevalier” of the Legion of Honor, France’s Highest Award.

3D Printing: The Design Phase *RR

The library’s 3D Printer can be used to just print out someone else’s file but designing the file yourself is much more satisfying. Join Technology Librarian, Brad McKenna to get familiar with TinkerCad and can design your own file to be printed.
Fall Floral Design Workshop *RR

Floral Designer, Patti Prior will demonstrate how to arrange supermarket flowers, pumpkins and gourds for autumn decorations. All arrangements will be raffled off to the attendees of the workshop.
