LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Robertson Has Plans For Strong Schools, A Better Route 38 & New Businesses

To the voters of Tewksbury and Wilmington,

For decades I have lived in Tewksbury and dedicated myself to the town in many different capacities. Following the tragic loss of our dear friend Representative Miceli, a personal friend of mine as well, we are in the midst of an important decision for our next State Representative. I urge voters on November 6th to choose David Robertson.

David has a life-long connection to our towns, is a graduate of Tewksbury schools, and worked both in Wilmington and Tewksbury as a young man volunteering. He studied under Representative Miceli, eventually handling his constituent affairs. He spent many hours helping people from filling potholes to helping veterans filing benefits. Answering regardless of the time of day, or if it was a weekend or holiday, he worked to help individuals or neighborhoods. He has spent time with our school committee working to advocate for a new elementary school in Tewksbury, and he spent hours with residents defending their homes in Wilmington against a proposed concrete plant. David has filed legislation, testified in committees, and has tracked and assisted in Representative Miceli in bringing hundreds of thousands of dollars to our schools, athletic fields, and more during the annual budget process.

We deserve quality representation in Boston, one with a vision for Tewksbury and Wilmington that includes strong schools, a better Route 38, and new businesses. Only one has the experience and plans to do so, which is why I am supporting David Robertson, and I urge you to do so as well.

Liz Carey
