WILMINGTON, MA — WCTV is excited to announce a State Representative Debate, featuring all three candidates running for the seat in the 19th Middlesex District, which includes most of Wilmington and Tewksbury.
The debate will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 7pm at the Wilmington High School Auditorium. This event is open to the public and voters are encouraged to attend to see the candidates talking about the biggest issues facing the district. The debate will also air live on WCTV’s Government Channel (Comcast 22 / Verizon 38) and will also stream inside the WCTV App and online at wctv.org/government.
WCTV is partnering with the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce to host the debate at Wilmington High School. News outlets which will be involved in debate format and questions include the Lowell Sun, Wilmington Apple, Wilmington Town Crier and Your Tewksbury Today.
Democrat Dave Robertson, Republican Pina Prinzivalli, and Independent Patricia Meuse have all confirmed their attendance for the debate. It should serve as an important voter-education event, coming less than two weeks until Election Day on November 6th.
