In The Community: The 4th Annual Tony A 5K Run/Walk will take place at 9am, beginning and ending at the Wilmington Town Common. Learn more HERE.
In The Community: The Shawsheen Tech Alumni and Friends Association is holding its Annual Homecoming 5K Walk/Race at the Tech (100 Cook Street, Billerica). Walkers start at 8:30am. Runners start at 9am. Day-of registration begins at 8am by the gym entrance and costs $20. The event is FREE to current Shawsheen Tech students. Proceeds to support the Shawsheen Tech Alumni Scholarship Fund. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive trophies. Post-race food and beverages will be provided. This is a rain or shine event. In The Community: The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library.
