WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington will temporarily have one less place to shop for groceries, produce, meat, prepared food, and alcohol.
According to its Facebook page, Elia’s Country Store (381 Middlesex Avenue) will be closed beginning Monday, October 8 for “preventive maintenance and repairs.”
The work is expected to take approximately one week, with a reopening eyed for Monday, October 15. Customers are encouraged to follow the store’s Facebook page for updates, however, as it’s possible the store may reopen sooner.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” reads the store’s announcement. “We look forward to being back to serve you as soon as possible.”
Customers still have an opportunity to stock up for the week! The store is open this Sunday, October 7 from 7am to 8pm, with liquor sales from noon to 6pm.
