Austin Prep Announces Alumni Events This Fall

READING, MA — Austin Preparatory School is planning a fall filled with events for alumni that include a pancake breakfast, reunions, and a Mass for first responders.

First up is Autumn at Austin on Oct. 12 and 13 on the Austin Prep campus. Events include:

  • 12, 5:00 pm: Girls Volleyball vs. Winthrop High in Meelia Hall
  • 13, 8:30-10:30 am: Pancake Breakfast with Cubby in the dining hall; price is $15, $5 for children ages 2-8
  • 13, 8:30-10:30 am: Activities with the Mindfulness Club, Photography/Videography Club, and Face Painting in the dining hall
  • 13, 9:30-10:30 am: Tours with Green Key Ambassadors
  • 13, 10:00 am: Girls Volleyball vs. Arlington Catholic in Meelia Hall
  • 13, 11:00 am: Girls and Boys Soccer Games on Fr. Seymour Field

Next up, the school hosts a Blue Mass for parents and alumni who are local first responders on Nov. 1 at 8:30 am. The Mass is followed by a breakfast for first responders.

Fall ends with reunions planned for several classes:

  • Classes from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s: Nov. 24 on the Austin Prep campus
  • Classes of 2003 and 2008: Nov. 24 at 8:00 pm in Boston
  • Class of 2013: Nov. 24 at 8:00 am at The Wild Rover Tavern in Boston
