Adult Programs

Articulating Your Accomplishments *RR
Monday, October 1, 10 am
If the job search is your recipe, this workshop is the secret ingredient! We will identify and write out transferable skills that can be used for resumes, cover letters, networking and job interviews. We will then discuss body language and how verbiage changes from the resume to the interview. Finally, attendees will deliver their C-A-R and S-T-A-R Statements during class, taking advantage of in-class feedback. Through mastery of these components, participants will learn how to apply their accomplishments to a smart job search. Taught by MassHire staff.

Identity Theft Awareness Seminar *RR

How do you protect yourself from the growing problem of identity theft? Julie Gershon, President of Unique Benefits Group and an employee benefits and identity theft specialist with LegalShield, will discuss how identity theft happens, the signs that you may be a victim, and steps you can take to protect yourself, plus much more.

Stephen Puleois an author, historian, teacher, public speaker, and communications professional.  He has written six narrative nonfiction books and has a seventh on the way. He will be speaking about his book The Boston Italians: A Story of Pride, Perseverance, and Paesani, from the Years of the Great Immigration to the Present Day.
